Step into a welcoming and focused environment designed especially for creatives who need to clear their admin to-do lists. The Long Table offers a unique co-working space where you can work alongside peers, sharing the energy and accountability of a communal workspace. Enjoy free coffee, low lighting, and the chance to lock away distractions for a productive day.
This session is perfect for artists and creative professionals looking to smash their inbox, send invoices, write pitches, or update websites during the busy tax and grants season. Whether you’re a starter-upper, sole trader, or seasoned pro, you’ll find support and camaraderie here.
Alongside focused work time, you can access one-on-one guidance from a representative of the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA), who will offer practical advice on fair pay, contracts, and applying the Code of Practice in real scenarios.
This event is part of the year-round Sector Sessions program, designed to support and strengthen creative practice through workshops and drop-in sessions. The Long Table is a pop-up co-working space hosted by the Randwick Arts and Culture team.
The session runs from 11:00 to 16:00 on Thursday, 14 May 2026, at Randwick Town Hall. Booking is free and can be made online. You can also book a time slot with NAVA in advance or join the waitlist on the day.
The event encourages a phone-free environment to help you focus, with phones kept safe by the hosts if you wish. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other creatives navigating the realities of freelance and project-based work.
Randwick Town Hall is located at 90 Avoca Street, Randwick, 2031. The main entrance is via double doors on Frances Street, which involves 8 steps with handrails. For wheelchair access, enter via the carpark on Avoca Street.
