This hands-on workshop is perfect for parents who want to preserve memories through creative textile reuse. Whether you have baby clothes or family garments, you’ll learn accessible techniques to craft a quilt that tells your story.
Throughout the day, you will work with your own fabrics to create a small cot-sized or lap quilt, approximately 60 × 80 cm. The focus is on building confidence and creativity while learning skills that you can continue to use at home.
This workshop offers a rewarding and sustainable way to upcycle fabrics with personal meaning, making it a perfect family-friendly creative activity.
The workshop runs for one full day, from 9:30am to 3:30pm, and is designed with beginners in mind. You’ll receive clear, step-by-step guidance on selecting suitable fabrics, planning a simple patchwork layout, and constructing your quilt.
