What to Expect
Pitch for Good is an engaging live pitch event where Banyule's most exciting social entrepreneurs showcase their bold ideas. This unique event empowers the audience to directly fund projects, shifting the traditional judging power to the community.
You will join local organisations, community members, and supporters eager to unlock funding, boost visibility, and create momentum for initiatives driving positive social impact.
The atmosphere is welcoming, energetic, and purpose-driven, making it a fantastic opportunity to connect with changemakers and support meaningful projects.
Activity Details
On the night, six local for-purpose organisations will pitch their innovative social impact ideas live. Attendees receive a $30 ticket that includes three $10 tokens to vote for their favourite projects.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the pitching organisations, and each project is supported by a StartSomeGood crowdfunding campaign, allowing continued support beyond the event.
You can explore stalls hosted by social enterprises and engage with the people behind the initiatives, making it a hands-on experience for the whole family.
Location and Access
The event is held at Banyule Council, 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough, VIC 3088. The venue is fully accessible.
Public transport options include the Hurstbridge train line to Greensborough Station, just a short walk away, and several bus routes (513, 517, 518, 520, 562) serving the area.
