What to Expect
Come on down to Storytown, a delightful weekly event designed especially for children aged 3 to 5 years. Each session features engaging story readings followed by a creative activity that brings the stories to life. Your little ones will explore a new theme every week, sparking their imagination and love of books.
Every child attending Storytown receives a special passport that gets stamped at each visit. Collect six stamps and your child will earn a wonderful book prize, encouraging regular attendance and a passion for reading.
This event is perfect for parents looking to introduce their children to the joy of stories in a friendly, welcoming environment. It's a great way to meet other families and enjoy quality time together.
Activity Details
Storytown runs every Tuesday from 11:15 to 11:45 AM, starting on May 12, 2026, and continuing weekly until June 30, 2026. Sessions are held at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre.
Bookings are essential and open one week in advance. Due to limited space, only one session per child per week is allowed across library branches, and latecomers cannot be admitted to ensure a smooth experience for all.
Please note the event will not run on April 14, July 7, July 14, December 22, and December 29. Prams are discouraged due to limited space.
