Join the community BBQ and support hub event where you can meet local support providers, enjoy a delicious meal, and access a variety of free services. Food hampers will be distributed to those in need, and confidential counselling is available for workers and their immediate families. This is a perfect opportunity to explore assistance options in a friendly setting.
The event takes place on Thursday, 2026-03-26, from 11:00 to 13:00 at the Tahmoor District Sporting Complex. Free food hampers are available through Community Links Wellbeing and OzHarvest. Confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling is offered for those affected, including workers made redundant. Additional support includes financial assistance, family wellbeing support, connections to local services, and help with online job applications.
The support hub and community BBQ are located at 140 Thirlmere Way, Tahmoor, within the Tahmoor District Sporting Complex. The venue is accessible and situated in a central community area, making it easy for families and workers to attend. Parking and public transport options are available nearby.
