What to Expect
Step into the exciting world of the circus for a day filled with laughter and high-energy fun. This workshop invites children aged 8 to 12 to learn classic circus skills such as whirling hula hoops, spinning plates, juggling, and twirling colourful poi. It's a playful, hands-on adventure that builds confidence and showcases show-stopping talents.
Children will be guided through each activity with all necessary equipment provided, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The session is designed to be engaging and energetic, perfect for young performers eager to try something new and exciting.
Parents can expect their children to return home buzzing with new skills and stories from under the big top.
Activity Details
The workshop runs for one hour, from 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning, on Tuesday, 7 July 2026. It is specifically tailored for children aged 8 to 12 years old. Comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity is recommended to ensure participants can move freely and safely.
Parents or guardians must remain in the library during the session for children aged 12 and under, with a maximum supervision ratio of one adult to four children. Late arrivals may be moved to a standby queue if spots are limited.
Cancellation at least three hours before the event is required to avoid future booking restrictions.
