Immerse yourself in a relaxing and social watercolour painting workshop designed for beginners aged 16 and over. This 2.5-hour session will guide you through introductory techniques such as washes, blooming, and staccato dry brushing, all centered around the theme of plants and flowers. No prior experience is necessary, making it perfect for those wanting to explore their creative side.
You will be encouraged to experiment with watercolour paints in a supportive environment, allowing your artistic confidence to grow. The workshop is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded adults and enjoy a creative Sunday morning.
The workshop runs on Sunday, 29 March 2026, from 11:00 to 13:30. All art materials are provided, so just bring yourself and an apron to protect your clothes. Participants should wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for painting.
This session is held at the Ultimo Community Centre’s Art Room, located at 40 William Henry Street, Ultimo. The cost is $50 per adult, and bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days before the event for a refund.
