This event invites families and curious minds to explore firsthand accounts and expert insights into the mysterious event that captivated dozens of students and teachers in 1966.
Attendees will experience a dynamic panel discussion featuring witnesses and researchers, including Shane Ryan, the lead investigator behind the documentary Westall ’66: A Suburban UFO Mystery. This is a rare chance to hear about the incident, related UFO sightings, and upcoming research directly from those deeply involved.
The event also includes a Recording Studio Oral History Demonstration, encouraging community members to preserve their own stories, making this a truly interactive and memorable experience for parents and children alike.
The program runs from 14:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, 12 April 2026, at Westall Library. It features:
- A panel discussion and interactive Q&A with witnesses and researchers
