Activity Details
This event is designed for children aged 4 years and older, with adult supervision essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The program runs for two hours, providing ample time to explore and learn.
You will be guided by expert Environmental Education Officers from Waterwatch, who will share their knowledge and help identify different waterbug species. This hands-on approach makes science accessible and exciting for the whole family.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Worthing Creek Reserve, Bannister Drive, Erina NSW 2250. This natural setting offers a beautiful backdrop for the waterbug hunt and is easily accessible by car. Parking is available nearby, and the reserve provides a safe environment for children to explore nature.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, as the activity involves wading near water. Bringing a hat and sunscreen is also recommended for comfort and protection.
