Escape the winter chill and spend a warm morning surrounded by like-minded wildlife enthusiasts. This intimate event offers a unique chance to hear fascinating stories about snow leopard cubs and their specialised care.
You will also meet the new Acting CEO, Dr Mark Pilgrim OBE, who will share his inspiring vision for Zoos Victoria’s future and conservation efforts.
Enjoy complimentary morning tea with coffee and cake as you connect with others who share a passion for protecting wildlife.
The event runs for one hour, starting at 11:00 AM, with doors opening at 10:30 AM to allow a relaxed arrival. It is free to attend and held in the Rainforest Room at Melbourne Zoo.
The session includes a presentation by Life Sciences Manager Laura Weiner, focusing on the personalities and care of snow leopard cubs, followed by a talk from the Acting CEO.
This experience is accessibility friendly, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.
The event takes place inside Melbourne Zoo’s Rainforest Room. Entry is recommended through the Main Gate Entrance of Melbourne Zoo.
Melbourne Zoo is well-served by public transport and has accessible facilities for visitors with mobility needs.
Parking and other visitor amenities are available on-site to make your visit convenient and enjoyable.
This is a free event, but spaces may be limited, so early booking is advised.
