Sea Country - Malu Lag follows a Torres Strait Islander community's fight to protect their island home from climate change, highlighting the healing power of the ocean and cultural resilience. Outpicker tells the story of a Chinese queer immigrant in Melbourne who finds belonging and purpose through community litter picking, emphasizing inclusion and grassroots environmental care.
After the screenings, engage in a facilitated discussion with guest speakers Lesley Le Luo and Jing from Outpicker. Enjoy light refreshments and connect with local environmental groups to deepen your understanding and involvement.

The screening takes place at the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub, located at 275 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe.
Parking is available onsite. Public transport options include the Hurstbridge train line with a short 5-minute walk from Ivanhoe Train Station. Bus routes 510, 546, 548, and 549 stop nearby on Upper Heidelberg Road.
The venue is accessible with wheelchair access (except mezzanine), accessible parking, hearing loop system, lifts, changing places, and hoist-equipped toilets.
