Wrap with Love invites you to be part of a heartwarming community initiative where volunteers knit wraps from squares to support vulnerable communities globally. This not-for-profit effort is perfect for parents looking to engage in a meaningful activity that also teaches children the value of giving back.
Enjoy a welcoming and creative environment where you can bring your knitting skills or learn new ones. Bring your 8 ply yarn and no. 8 or 4mm knitting needles to contribute. Completed squares, wraps, wool donations, and knitting needles can be dropped off at Concord and Five Dock libraries.
Sessions run from 10:00 to 12:00 on selected dates between December 2025 and January 2027. No bookings are required, making it easy to drop in when it suits your family schedule. This is a free activity, ideal for parents and children to share quality time while making a positive impact.
The sessions take place at Five Dock Library, a convenient and accessible location for families in the City of Canada Bay area. The library provides a comfortable space to knit and socialize, with easy public transport and parking options nearby.
Please bring your own 8 ply yarn and knitting needles (size 8 or 4mm). Donations of wool and needles are also welcome. The initiative supports global communities, so your participation helps spread warmth and kindness worldwide.
There is no cost to participate, and no bookings are necessary. Simply come along on any of the scheduled dates from December 2025 through January 2027 between 10:00 and 12:00 to join in the fun and community spirit.
