You'll be working in a picturesque location overlooking Coogee Beach, contributing to the preservation of a cherished local natural area. The group has already successfully revegetated a large portion of the site and continues to expand its efforts.
Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to bushcare, you'll find this a rewarding way to connect with nature and meet like-minded community members.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves if possible, and prepare for outdoor weather conditions. Tools and guidance are provided by the Bushcare Officer.
Meet near the Council ute parked by the BBQ area opposite the entrance to Wylie's Baths, above Coogee Beach. The site offers stunning coastal views and easy access for families.
Public transport options are available to Coogee, and parking is limited, so consider carpooling or walking if nearby.
The location is ideal for a morning of fresh air and community spirit, with opportunities to explore the beachside area before or after the session.
Please note the sessions run monthly on the 3rd Tuesday until mid-December 2026. The group also meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays near the playing fields outskirts.
Bookings are recommended to ensure adequate materials and support. Children should be supervised at all times.
