Discover a fun and engaging art workshop designed especially for children aged 5 to 12. Kids will be inspired by the vibrant artworks of Jasper Knight displayed on Level 1 of the gallery. This is a wonderful opportunity for young artists to explore their creativity using recycled materials.
Parents and carers are encouraged to stay and participate alongside their children, making it a shared artistic experience. The workshop fosters imagination and environmental awareness through the use of recycled supplies.
Bring along any recycled materials from home to contribute to your child's artwork, though some materials will also be provided on site. The session runs for three hours, allowing plenty of time for children to create and express themselves.
This event is free to attend but booking is essential to secure your spot. Donations are welcome to support future community art programs.
The workshop takes place at Mosman Art Gallery & Community Centre, located at 1 Art Gallery Way, Mosman. The venue is accessible and family-friendly, providing a welcoming environment for children and their carers.
Easy directions and parking information can be found on the Mosman Council website. Public transport options are also available for convenient access.
All parents and carers must stay with their children during the workshop to ensure safety and support. Mosman Council is committed to creating safer communities for children and young people.
Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and prepare materials. The event is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
This is a free event, but places are limited and booking is essential. Donations are encouraged to help maintain and develop community art initiatives.
