What to Expect
This special event is dedicated to recognising and congratulating volunteers who have contributed their time and effort to the Banyule community. It promises a warm and appreciative atmosphere where volunteers can enjoy a relaxing evening.
The celebration includes a delicious 3-course dinner accompanied by drinks, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Entertainment will be provided by the lively Baker Boys Band, adding a festive touch to the night.
Please note that this event is exclusively for volunteers; children cannot be accommodated.
Activity Details
The event will take place on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, from 18:00 to 21:00. The venue doors open at 17:40 to allow guests to settle in comfortably before the festivities begin.
A $10 contribution per person is requested, typically paid by the volunteer organisation. Unfunded community groups may request free tickets, ensuring inclusivity.
Tickets are required for entry, so be sure to book in advance to secure your place at this memorable celebration.
Location and Access
The celebration will be held at The Centre Ivanhoe, located at 275 Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe, 3079. This venue is fully accessible, with an accessible drop-off zone at the front door of The Great Hall.
Parking is available on-site but can be busy, so guests are advised to allow ample time to find a spot and be seated by 18:00.
The venue is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Ivanhoe Train Station, with bus routes 510 and 548 stopping nearby.
Important Information
Children are not permitted at this event to maintain a focused and respectful atmosphere for volunteers.
